SMNA She-wolf standing left, suckling the twins Romulus and Remus; above, two stars. Cf. RIC VIII (Constantinople) 178-9 (for prototype of obverse) and RIC VII 195 (for prototype of reverse). A very unusual hybrid imitation. Slightly rough and with some deposits, otherwise, about very fine.



This unusual hybrid imitation combines an obverse of Jovian with a commemorative Urbs Roma reverse struck under Constantine I.
